Isabella Brunner

Isabella is a researcher and lecturer in Public International Law at Bundeswehr University Munich. Prior to starting her position in Munich, she worked as a legal officer at the Office of the Legal Adviser at the Austrian Federal Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs. There, next to working in the Sanctions department, Isabella was in charge of dealing with questions surrounding the application of international law to cyber operations.

Isabella holds a Diploma in Law (equivalent to a Master’s degree) and a BA in Korean Studies from the University of Vienna. She is currently writing her PhD in international law which focuses on state responsibility issues regarding cyber operations.
