Dr. Shavana Musa is a Lecturer in International Law at the University of Manchester in the UK. Shavana works on a wide range of issues pertaining to security and justice, development and human rights. Some of her research and policy work has focused on strengthening the UK's cyber security capabilities following Brexit; the arms trade and business and human rights. Shavana has held visiting fellowships at the University of Cambridge and the European University Institute. She has worked for the UN, numerous NGO's on global development projects and contributed to governmental policymaking.
