Noam Lubell
Noam Lubell is Professor of International Law of Armed Conflict at Essex University, and was Head of the Law School from January 2014 to January 2017. He has taught the law of armed conflict and human rights law at several institutions in the UK, Ireland, Switzerland and the US, and also worked for human rights NGOs in the field.
Prof. Lubell holds the Swiss Chair of International Humanitarian Law at the Geneva Academy, is a Research Associate of the Hebrew University's Cyber Security Research Center and is Rapporteur of the International Law Association's Committee on the Use of Force.
During 2017-2018, he will be a Visiting Scholar at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in the US, working on legal and ethical implications of human enhancement technologies.
