Abstract- Cyber sexual Engagement and its Association with Deviant Behavior among Youth

Based on a large sample of middle and high school students (n= 5647) from the US, this study examines the cybersexual behavior, which is participants' self-reported sexual activity over the phone or internet, and its possible association with deviant behavior among youth. While previous studies examined the link between youth sexual activity and its connection with delinquency, a possible link for cyber sexual activity has not been explored sufficiently. Addressing that gap in the relevant literature, the findings are discussed in the light of existing literature and the possible research and policy implications are discussed as a conclusion.
