Haim Wismonsky

Dr. Haim Wismonsky is the Director of the cyber unit in the Israeli State Attorney's Office and has served for 16 years in various positions in the Israeli prosecution service.
Dr. Haim Wismonsky also serves as a lecturer at the Tel Aviv University and the University of Haifa in the areas of law and technology, cyber law and national security. In 2016, he was a research fellow at the Balvatnik Interdisciplinary Cyber Research Center (ICRC). 
Wismonsky holds a Ph.D. from Tel Aviv University, and his thesis dealt with technological, legal and conceptual challenges to the State's role as the criminal law enforcement authority in the Internet. In addition, he holds a L.L.B. and L.L.M. degrees (cum laude) in law and a B.A. in political science (cum laude), all of them from Tel Aviv University.
Dr. Wismonsky's book, "Criminal Investigation in Cyberspace" was published by Nevo in early 2016. In addition, Dr. Wismonsky has published various academic and professional articles on cybercrime, digital evidence, criminal law and criminal procedure.
